I read my favorite blogs every day ... some inspire me in the kitchen, others inspire my photography, others my health ... I often get inspired by challenges ... but if you want me to be completely honest rarely do I complete them.
I love the photoaday challenge, but my work schedule and family commitments often get in the way ... my life during the week has little variation ... office ... lunch at the office ... work until late ... in the office ... drive for an hour ... get home ... check homework ... no good pic light ... do dinner .... no good pic light ... try to get a run in ... no good pic light ... read blogs ... write blog when I can ... tired ... bed.
So as you can see ... my creativity is many times truncated by my life ... something to work on.
There is a challenge I want to complete, though ...
I came across the #plankaday challenge when reading Fit Chick in the City's post. I am not a lover of any core exercise, EXCEPT, for the plank. I do not know if it is due to Yoga or if for some reason the plank is easier for me than other exercises. Long story short ... I am in!
I really want to do the 12 hour - 1 plank an hour challenge ... however I do not know how to swing this in the office ... (I have company tomorrow ... customers ... can you imagine ... "please excuse me for a minute or two ... I will be back to talk about pricing after my plank of the hour" :)
So for now I am doing the #plankaday ... no Twitter posts, just a basic count ... my basic count ... I starting today! Complete details found here!
No pics of my plank today ... I promise I tried they were very unflattering ... I will keep working on it ... :)
I did however reel my daughter in participating with me in the challenge ...
1. My plankers complaining about the challenge. Can you tell they are excited about the plank! :)

Cross Training
I had fun going to the gym this weekend, trying out new classes with my daughter ... I was going out for a run, but due to home delays it is now 11PM and I have yet to exercise and I do not feel like going out for a run at this time.
I am really starting to realize the importance about XT ... not that every magazine or post in the blogosphere has made it clear how important it is numerous times. :) I finally am somewhat paying attention.
After waiting for Nana to get back from work ... I decided to get a bike ride in - on my stationary bike ... (I know it is 11:00 PM) but I am awake and ready!
I know it is weird to complete my workout at this time but it feels nice to be able to say that I got my exercise in for the day!
