... and the cooking continued ...

I sometimes wish I had a chance to spend more time in the kitchen ... I really enjoy using my million gadgets and think of the million and one other gadgets I need to get ...


I was enjoying myself in the kitchen, meanwhile this little fella was in need of attention ... the girls were either sleeping or watching TV ... it was raining outside so he settled in for the day ... he probably also dreaming of getting a hold of some samples, but he is in a strict doggy food only diet ... so no can do!

I decided to make Pizza al Taglio tonight ... not the normal pizzeria version as I did not have time to let the dough rise for many hours, but the one you normally purchase at the bakery in Italy ...  


Since my focaccia came out so great I thought it would be good to continue my good streak ... I felt I was on a roll.

Olives ... next time there will be more choices ... I guess we are in great need to fill our fridge and pantry.

I made this salsa because I had some of the ingredients on hand that I wanted to use ... I know it had no real tie to tonight's dinner ... I just figured I would get it ready for tomorrow. (I have no idea yet on how I am going to pair this salsa ... we shall see!)

I had no cheese, and apparently no one was in the mood to go to the store, so we decided on a tomato pizza sans cheese.

It was delicious ... I do not know about my waistline this Sunday ... but I guess I will think about that tomorrow ... :)

Time to get ready for a new week ... no Housewives or GCB tonight ... :( ... a dopo ... J
