Day 9 10 of my trip (I was unable to upload pics yesterday due to internet speed) ... I am starting to feel very tired ... eating out all the time sleeping no more than 4 hours per night is finally taking a toll on me ... the trip has been amazing ... so it has been worth it ... but I am tired no, I am not tired - I am however sleepy ...the only thing I could think of while waiting to board was to get to my seat to sleep. That is exactly what I did ... a short flight but the nap was very much welcome.
I am starting to feel the "trip" food ... as much as it has been delicious I need to detox ... :) I am going to try to go light on the week I have left, but food in Brazil is delicious but meat heavy and though I am far from being a vegetarian I am starting to not feel well.
I promise that I am here for work, but I rarely post pics of my job unless they are fairly vague so, instead you get to enjoy the sights and sounds and tastes ... of my trip ... please forgive the quality photography, when working I try not to take too much time with my camera.
Feijoada done with much love by my co-workers mother-in-law ... delicious. (Originally there was a picture of my plate ... but meat is just an interesting subjet ... I leave you with this pic ... love the churrasqueira!)
A cachaca homemade liquor ... surprisingly smooth!

The Cathedral in top of the Morro ... a hilly ride up that I wanted to run, but time got in the way ... or was it me and my dislike of hills :)
Creature of habit ... I know ... Pao de Queijo makes another appearance ...
Gelato!
A wonderful day at the beach ... (well not my day at the beach) ... this is the view from our parked car ...
My hotel!
A hotel from yesteryear ... very original ... very unique ...
The Basilica St. Paulina
Capela de St. Agata
Original Santa Paulina Church
So far it has been a wonderful, wonderfully exhausting and wonderfully productive trip!
... a dopo ... J
