... self-portrait novice ...

It is always hard for me to come up with catchy titles for my blog entries ... I knew I was going to post the photo day challenge, however as I was going mentally through my day ... I could only remember that there was a lot of work and really not much more ... and then suddenly the streak came to mind ... today would be the 5th day ... I had not anticipated what to do with rest days and I did not factor this into this streak business ... however I told myself that today would be like a rest day as it is a Dante training day ... and I actually really enjoy his run/walk training plan up to now ...


... Lately, I have been making dinner late for I have been running as soon as I get home as I am tired of running at 10:30 at night ... the girls have eaten dinner kind of late due to this ... not proud of this.


... tonight I arrived at 7:10 PM and figured it was best to make this a rest day and feed my family at a decent time ... truthfully running really fell off my mental map ... well, until I sat down to write these words ... and so I sit here on the couch with little to no motivation, Dante snoring by my side and with this dinner in my tummy:

Polenta con ragu' ...

Yes, I know I went for a light dinner ;) ... okay, not so much ... but it was very scrumptious ... 

... is it worth it to break my streak after just 4 days? What do I do about rest days planned for in my training?  Can I continue my streak if I am doing what I am told to do?

Photo Challenge Day 5 - Something you wore ...

I knew I wanted to take a "headless" :) self-portrait ... I did not know how to take a picture of myself at work without seeming too obvious ... below you will find the various attempts at taking my self-portrait of something I wore!

And the leg goes up again ... Princess Diaries Style without the fountain kiss! (You have to be a mom of a girl to understand that one !!!) AHH ... those shadows!

So as you can see ... one single task took only about a million pics ... obviously I need practice in the self-portrait arena ... 

Task Completed - they did not specify anything about quality, right! ;)
