... ahh, real food !!!

Well, I must report that my ride home was filled with work conversations ... that is the beauty of working with different time zones!

I was excited for dinner as I knew I wanted to do my famous "Arroz con Coco" ... no process pictures because the recipe is a secret ... Kidding (OK, kidding just a little bit) ... no really ... the reason why I don't have recipe procedure pictures is because I was so late that I had no time to stop for pictures.

We favor eating together over eating at appropriate times, so my family or part of it ... (Nana is still working and yet to arrive), waited for me!  8:40 PM arrival and after a quick hello ... I went straight to the kitchen.  

Menu of the night, Steak and Arroz con Coco (Coconut Rice).  I didn't have time to clean my veggies so there weren't any veggies on the table tonight!  

Many countries have their version of Coconut Rice, this one in particular is the Colombian style of making Coconut Rice.  I hope to post pictures and recipe soon.  

The steak is somewhere in there ... it did not look pretty in the picture, so I decided to skip it !

OK, I must go finish a few things for work ... I have been practicing my Portuguese at work ... I love having to speak in Portuguese again!

Tomorrow there are leftovers for lunch !!! No skipping !!! No planning !!! (I better make breakfast interesting!)
